About

I started this blog as a way to cope with the stress of wedding planning, but the experience has been more rewarding that I ever imagined.  I owe all of my great ideas and inspiration to the blogging world!

I’m a third year law student in Florida.  I graduate in May and will be joining an environmental and land use firm in Florida.  I love to cook, spend time with friends, take spinning classes and at times I “attempt” to sew.  Planning this wedding has really brought out the DIY in me, and I love it!

I tried to find a contact link around here for you, but can’t – so I’ll post what I was going to email you here:

Several weeks ago, I heard Guy Kawasaki speak here in Houston. He has nothing to do with weddings – but lots to do with marketing. He has a site called alltop.com which has different “channels” for different topics.

I shamelessly begged that they create a wedding channel. I sent them a list full of URLs to include. It finally launched today – and you’re on the site!

Hope you get tons of traffic from it! :-) Just wanted to let you know that you made the list!

Hi! I recently got engaged in May of this year and stumbled upon your blog from snippet & ink. I must say that I enjoy your site very much! My fiance is starting his 3rd year of Law School next week so I can empathize with what your schedule was like. Granted I (non-law student) will be planning the majority of our wedding, but we are having to work around the Bar Exam schedule and his graduation! Good luck!

My name is Allison and I’m writing on behalf of Nikon. I thought you might be interested in a couple of videos from Nikon’s newest how-to webisode series called “Look Good in Pictures with Carson Kressley.” Carson has been guiding viewers through different scenarios, showing them how to shoot, pose and shop to look the best in photographs. This week, we have 2 new videos about wedding photography. The first video features Susan Stripling, who I saw took your portraits, and the second one features two editors, Elayne Fluker, Managing Editor and Anne Chertoff, Senior Editor from Brides.com, plus each episode takes the tips and applies them to real life brides. The videos share some great tips on wedding photos, such as finding a photographer who takes great photos and who you’re comfortable with, plus one Brides.com editor tells us about the latest trend in wedding photography: pre-ceremony photo shoots. I hope you enjoy them and feel free to embed them on your blog if you think your readers will enjoy them too.

Advertising and product giveaway inquiry -http://anexcitedbride.wordpress.com

    Hello,
My name is Sam Nam and I was interested in promoting my website, OnlinePosterPrinting.com, in the wedding market. I know that http://anexcitedbride.wordpress.com
is a great resource for wedding planners and brides-to-be and wanted to inquire about the possibility of hosting a free product giveaway. Our canvas prints and poster prints are great for printing wedding photos! All we ask for in exchange is a few specific text links back to our site.

I’m also interested in paid advertising with your site. Could you provide me with an advertising rate card with pricing for text links in your sidebar?

    Thank you in advance!

    Samuel Nam
